Library News

The library was renamed Ouida B. Kirby Student Library December 2, 2008, on the eve of Mrs. Kirby's retirement after 35 years of service.

Welcome, new students! Register at the library for a library barcode to put on the back of your Student ID (available from Student Services.) You will use the barcode to check out up to five circulating books. You can get a computer password that will work throughout our campus at the library or in Room 115.  Sign in to use a library computer. Please purchase a flashdrive in order to save your documents.

Everest University North Orlando Campus Library has a local collection of more than 4,000 titles, including an extensive law collection. Eight computers are available for student use. A DVD player and VCR are available for in-library use. Students are encouraged to read at least one professional journal a month.

Students have access to more than 26,000 electronic books through NetLibrary. Establish a free NetLibrary account from an Everest University Library computer, then access NetLibrary from any Internet-enabled computer.

Tutoring services in Math and English are coordinated through Student Services.
